Woolwine; eight grandchildren, who were the light of Charlotte's life, Stephanie, Tiffany, Cali, Clay, J.R., Sarah, Hannah and Cameron; brother, Thomas J. Jordan Jr.; niece, Sherry Jordan; nephew, Tommy Jordan; and great-niece, Sydney Jordan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know how extremely difficult this is to deal with. Words really cannot express the pain and loss you are feeling now. I can only say from my heart and what I know that your Mother is in a better place and happy and watching over the ones she loves dearly and just waiting to be reunited with you again. With all of my love-Wanda Wilburn

Dear Dickie and Family,
John and I did not get to see you at the funeral service but you are in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your loving words and a moving and joyful service. Charlotte and I were first cousins and grew up and played together as children at Franklin Heights Apartments and were very close as we grew into adulthood. I remember the good times we had when my family visited yours in Roanoke. I have wonderful memories. God bless you. Lovingly,

Trilbie Knapp and family

To Charlotte's Family:

My son called me yesterday to tell me of Charlotte's passing. We have known her for a long time since our days at Northside High School. She came to work there while I was also working there and I began to know her as a dear friend. I would always look forward to bumping into her in Pete's or Famous Anthony's when we came home from Florida. I am going to miss seeing her very much and want you to know my prayers are with you and your family at this time during the loss of a beautiful and lovely lady.

To The Woolwine Family, Every time I ever saw or spoke to Mrs Woolwine she always had a sense of fun and a spirit of joy for life about her. I saw her as a classy lady who adored her family and friends. I've seen the pain in Richards' eyes and noted his devotion to her through these long bouts of health challenges. My prayers have been that they would each be at peace and know the amazing grace of our Lord and Savior. She truly was a lovely lady that will be missed by so many. I hope you all will find the courage it takes to face the difficult days ahead. God Bless all of you.
