Mom, you were definitely "one of a
kind." Your door was always open to your family and friends. We enjoyed the weekends we spent with you so much. We shared stories of old times and laughed about the funny things that had happened. We got teary-eyed about the sad times. but you soon
had us laughing again.
Mom, you were always a good hos-
tess and made sure we had plenty
of tasty food and rested well at
night. You showed your love by the
gracious way you treated us.
We will never forget your tears and your "God Bless You" when we left.
You will always be in our hearts, and
we believe we will join you in Heaven
around the throne of God.
We love you, Mom.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Granny, I can never forget all the wonderful times we had at your house eating breakfast and listening to your stories about the ol days. I can vividly remember preaching on your front porch. We're so happy you were able to see your great grandson and he will come to know you as he gets older. You will be missed by all but I am glad to know that you are in a better place and that one day we will meet again. Love you!

Great-Granny; I'm going to miss you dearly. You could always put a smile on anyones face just by smiling at them. It will never be the same without you. I'm glad you could come back and see us one last time before you let the lord take you as his angel. I love you. Save a place for me in Heaven Great-Granny

Cleo Gordon was very special to me, her grandson, and will be sorely missed.
She had a way of being a good listener but offered great advice when needed. She was a good, God fearing woman, who always brought out the best in people. She was caring and I remember her well for her great cooking!
Though she is gone on this earth, she will live forever in my heart and I look forward to seeing her again in heaven someday.
