Mae Newman Obituary

Mae E. Newman, 82, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Friday, February 20, 2009. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Newman. Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Ferguson and Donna Shelton; son, Danny Newman and wife, Lynanne; grandchildren, Jodie Shelton, Eric Hollandsworth, Alyssa Hollandsworth, and Kelsey Newman; and brother, Barry Newman. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Oakey's South Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel, 540-989-3131.
