Brandi in 2 days it will be 5 years ago that u left us all. I miss you more than u can imagine and you are always in my thoughts and I talk to u a great bit. 11 months ago today God blessed me with the best gift in the whole wide world my baby Ava and I know that you would love her so much and just think she is so cute. I just want your mom and dad to know that they are such strong people because knowing now what its like to be a mom that theres no better joy in the world. God had to have strong Angels to be your parents since your time on earth wasnt very long and he needed a beautiful angel in heaven to watch over everyone. Girl I love you more than u know and are so very lucky to of had a friend like you. I love You. Lylas Kara

We think of you often and the things you would say. We see things that you might like or would say that others would like. Each day is a new day but in our hearts we hold you close like it's the day before you left this Earth. I know you are watching us all from that wonderful place called Heaven, waiting for the day for us all to join you. Until we can tell you face to face, we love you more than words or actions could ever express. Please continue to watch over all of us here on Earth.
Lots of love & thoughts from Earth to Heaven,
Tim, Dee, Amanda and Koty

My heart skips a beat and my stomach gets in a terrible knot when I think about the anguish Dale and Priscilla are going through. I think that's how Christ connects us, when we are "born again". Feeling each other's great joys and sorrowful experiences in life. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
May the Peace of Christ be with You!

Brandi,
It's been a few months since you left us, but not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Every time I pass your dad's shop, I can't help but to look over and think about you and your parents. I see your dad from time to time and I always ask how he is doing. You can tell in his eyes (along with your mom's) that he feels empty. You were your parent's whole life. I know that you are watching over each and every single one of us. I'm sure you're up in Heaven dancing with the Angels with a million butterflies fluttering around you. Earth might have lost an Angel but Heaven sure did gain a beautiful Angel. I'm so glad you aren't suffering anymore. I wish God could help ease the pain from your parents. If only I knew what to do to make them feel better...
Brandi, you're missed a whole bunch. I see Josh's truck from time to time and on the back glass, it still says RIP<3BNW No one has forgotten about you. And no one will ever forget about you.
My great grandpa just found out about a month and a half ago that he has pancreatic cancer. Well tonight, my mom called me and told me he wasn't doing too well and the doctors are giving him a day or two at the most. Please welcome him to Heaven with open arms...he needs to let go so he can stop suffering. I wish I could be there with him so I could see him one last time, but it's just impossible. I just hope God takes him away so he doesn't have to hurt anymore.
It's 1:30am and I just had so much on my mind so I decided to write you. Please keep watching over everyone. Love and miss you lots.

Dale and Priscilla
First let me tell you that I am truely sorry for your loss. I know that Brandi
means the world to the both of you. She could not have asked for better parents. Everyone that knew her thought she was a wonderful person, and to the both of you she was a Angel and I would have to agree. Brandi will always be my best friend. When she passed away I was heart broken to think I had loss the one person I could tell everything to without her judging me. I have come to realize that it does not have to stop. I know If I talk she will be listening. I know she is always here in spirt. I have true faith in believing that she is both of your Guardian Angels watching over you both, almost like paying it forward because to her you both were her Angels here on Earth watching over her. I know there are no words to ease the pain in your heart, but just knowing that she touched so many lives has to put a smile on your faces.
I wrote a poem for Brandi called
A Friend I once Knew
A Friend I once knew is no longer around
but in my heart is where she is found
I have all the memories stored in my head
the laughter and tears that we shed
My Friend was there for me through everything no matter how crazy it seemed
If you ask Will you miss her?
I would respond I could not imagine finding someone else with such a close bond. She was more than a friend
more like a sister, and I everyday I will miss her
If I could of a had a chance for some last words i would tell her no one could take your place you are one of a kind, but now your going to a much better place
I Love You and I we will meet again so until then in my memories you will be
until that day we are all set free.
I love You Brandi and I will miss you! (LYLAS)
Dale and Priscilla I am here for the both of you anytime you need me. I Love You both.
Love Always Kara East

Brandi,
When I look at you, I not only see a daughter, but I see a girl who has become an amazing woman.
When I look at you, I think of your kindness and compassion and how positively you view the world. I think of how hard you work, yet I see the child within you who still knows how to play and dream.
When I look at you, I think of so many great times we've shared together, talking, laughing, and remembering...I look at you and I see a daughter who has made me very proud, a daughter who is a friend for life.
Love,
Mom & Dad

Dad,
I have so many memories of good times we had when I was growing up. Even though I'm grown and on my own now, I still cherish the memories of those good times with you. So much of how I live my life and of who I am today is a result of your influence. You've always been one of the most important people in my life...and you still are. So, even though we may not spend as much time together as we once did, I want you to know one very important thing...that you're always with me, right here in my heart...where you belong.
Love,
Brandi
April 2, 2009
Brandi,
The longer we're apart, the more my mind fills with thoughts of you...Maybe it hasn't been so long since the last time we were together, the last time I felt your touch. But lately I can think of little else than being held in your arms...I can dream of nothing but the next time I'll get to see your smile, feel your touch and your kisses. Maybe it hasn't been so long since we were together, but it seems like forever to me...So here I am, counting the moments until our "next time" arrives - waiting for the day when I don't have to miss you anymore.
Love, Mom and Dad

Comfort may come in many ways -
a song that reminds you of a special moment,
an old photograph of a happy time,
the knowledge that, in God's arms, your loved one shares the same memories.
God bless and keep you close to His heart,
Brenda and Johnny Spence

Just a little note to encourage you and to let you know that you are in my thoughts:
"May the peace of God which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
Asking God to give you much peace and great comfort. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. & Mrs. West,
I am thinking about you at this time of sorrow. Brandi was such a sweet, gentle girl and I see her sweet smile when I think of her. She was, I am sure, a wonderful daughter to you and I remember how you supported her in her school life.
My thoughts are with you,

Dale & Priscilla,
I just wanted to send you guys a card and let you know that you are still in my thoughts and prayers.
I was thinking back about some of the good times Brandi and I had. It seems like everytime we got together was fun.
One night in particular, me and Brandi and Garrett went camping at the Peaks. We had all gone to bed after building our first fire to roast hot dogs. But I had gotten back up and was sitting by the fire. Around 2 a.m. Brandi decided she had to use the bathroom. I could see it from where I sat, so she walked the 15 yards by herself and she had no more made it to the door when she came flying out making wild motions with her hands! I ran up to see and she said a mouse had ran behind the trash can.
There was no convincing either of us after that. I checked the guys bathroom and she used that. The next morning we drove to the lodge to use the bathroom. We were laughing, but even still we weren't going in there with that mouse!!
If you guys need or want anything that I can help with please let me know.
Love you guys!

Dale & Cilla,
My heart goes out to you all at this time. I wish there were some comforting words to say, but there are none. May the Lord be with you at this time and the time in the future. I know Brandi is celebrating in Heaven with Mama & Hubert and the Lord now. She will always be watching over you and you will be with her someday. God bless you!
I love you both,

Dale and 'Cilla,
We love you very much. You both are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. We don't know what you're going through but if you ever need a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen or just someone to hang out with, you know we're here for you and where to find us.
Brandi, our BEAUTIFUL Heavenly Angel,
We miss you more than words can say. You're smile would light up the room. You're "scent of humor" put tears into the eyes of those around you. And when someone got you ticked, oh buddy, your daddy and uncles, let's not forget to mention granny, came out in you. But seriously, we couldn't have asked for a more loving, gentle, beautiful niece than you. Amanda and Koty adores you and thinks about you all the time. We couldn't have asked for someone better than you for them to grow up with and around. It's so hard to believe that you are in Heaven. The day we went Christmas shopping was extremely special to me and will always be. I will forever hold that day in my heart and not let it go. One of our favorite Christmas memories was when you and Ashley wanted this particular cd and we got it for the two of you. The look on your faces when you both opened it made our Christmas brighter. Anytime you want to hum that tune, we will hum along with you. We love you very much!!!
See you in Heaven "Brambi",

Dale and Pricilla,
I was thinking of Brandi and how she liked butterflies so much. I guess she had more in common with them than we took time to see. A butterfly doesn't get to live for a long time, and neither did Brandi. A butterfly is a beautiful quiet thing...so was Brandi. I suspect she's surrounded by butterflies now, wearing that big ol' smile and naming one of them 'Mint Julip'. And there's probably a bald eagle there, too, that she has told looks a lot like a guy at her Dad's shop. Brandi was the person she was because God looked ahead in time and knew that you two were the parents that would bring this child up in the way of the Lord. Yes, she was only here for a little while but, man, what an impact!! Amanda and Koty loved her so much and she was a great role model for Amanda. This year Amanda wants to celebrate Brandi's birthday instead of hers. Nine years ago we could have lost Amanda. Brandi was right there with the rest of us praying for Amanda. Truly an angel sent from Heaven and such an awesome, awesome person. And ya know...her parents ain't half bad either! You're in all of our thoughts more often than not.

Remember 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God!"

When words are needed most they can be most difficult to say. But I hope you'll remember I am thinking of you, knowing God will give comfort to you, as only He is able.

Dear Priscilla and Dale,
I was so sad to hear of your daughter's death. It is an experience no parent should go through.
It has been almost a year since Stacy left me. It is so hard to realize she isn't here. The "acute" grief has lessened some but another kind takes place. Always remember the joy of having her twenty-four years. We can't understand God's plan but he knows & the only thing that has let me go thru this dark journey is my faith & trust in Jesus.
Trust in Him & it will ease a little in time. If you need to talk with someone who has walked in your shoes, call me anytime.
God's blessings on you,

Memories of Brandi, Our "Precious Rose Bud"
On Feb. 23, 2009 God send His Angel to pick a rose to brighten the portals of Heaven. You see, God had planted a very sweet "Special Rose Bud" for the Land of Peace and Love.
Twenty-four years has elapsed with so many memories of love, joy, happiness and laughter realized. Even though, there was much suffering and pain...Our "Rose Bud" shone and blossomed through it all, knowing that a Heavenly Home would be her gain.
Our precious "Rose Bud" has now reached its maturity. Time now to be picked for Eternal Security.
Time to grieve
Time to cry
Time to say goodbye to our Beautiful "Rose Bud" until we meet again in that Heavenly Home.
No more goodbye's
No more tears
No more pain, but joy, happiness and where the Roses will bloom forever and never fade.

The only thing I can say is I'm so sorry. Your family has suffered a loss that I cannot even begin to imagine. But I can tell you a few things I know for sure, that you had a wonderful young lady who loved her family so much. To be able to tell you this from looking from the outside in is one of the best things for parents to hear. Brandi was such an inspiration to be around. I never saw her complain and always saw a smile. I will always remember coming into the shop and seeing her look up at me with that wonderful smile.

Dale and Priscilla,
I thought about Brandi and remembered that I had heard this recited. I changed it around a little in order to reference it to her. May you find peace and comfort in reading it.
Go Down, Death
Weep not, weep not,
She is not dead;
She's resting in the bosom of Jesus.
Heart-broken father--weep no more;
Grief-stricken mother--weep no more;
She only just gone home.
February 23rd, 2009, on a Monday evening,
God was looking down from his great, high Heaven,
Looking down on all his children,
And his eye fell on precious Brandi,
Clutching her chest in pain.
And God's big heart was touched with pity,
With the everlasting pity.
And God sat back on his throne,
And He commanded that tall, bright angel standing at his right hand:
"Call me Death!"
And that tall, bright angel cried in a voice
That broke like a clap of thunder:
"Call Death!--Call Death!"
And the echo sounded down the streets of Heaven
Til it reached away back to that shadowy place,
Where Death waits with his pale, white horses.
And Death heard the summons,
And he leaped on his fastest horse,
Pale as a sheet in the moonlight.
Up the golden street Death galloped,
And the hooves of his horse struck fire from the gold,
But they didn't make no sound.
Up Death rode to the Great White Throne,
And waited for God's command.
And God said: "Go down, Death, go down,
Go down to Roanoke, Virginia,
Down in Montvale,
And find Brandi West.
She's carried the burden of suffering long enough,
And she's tired--
She's weary--
Go down, Death, and bring her to me."
And Death didn't say a word,
But he loosed the reins on his pale, white horse,
And he clamped the spurs to his bloodless sides,
And out and down he rode,
Through Heaven's pearly gates,
Past suns and moons and stars;on Death rode,
Leaving the lightning's flash behind;
Straight down he came.
While doctors were working around her bed,
She turned her eyes and looked away,
She saw what they couldn't see;
She saw Old Death. She saw Old Death
Coming like a falling star.
But Death didn't frighten Brandi;
He looked to her like a welcome friend.
And she whispered: I'm going home,
And she smiled and closed her eyes.
And Death took her up like a baby,
And she lay in his icy arms,
But she didn't feel no chill.
And death began to ride again--
Up beyond the evening star,
Into the glittering light of glory,
On to the Great White Throne.
And there he laid young Brandi
On the loving breast of Jesus.
And Jesus took his own hand and wiped away her tears,
And he smoothed all signs of suffering from her face,
And the angels sang a little song,
And Jesus rocked her in his arms,
And kept a-saying: "Take your rest,Take your rest."
Weep not--weep not,
She is not dead;
She's resting in the bosom of Jesus.

This world is not my home I'm just passing through. My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue, when the angels beckon me from heavens open door, I can't feel at home in this world anymore. If anyone has made it all the way home surely Brandi made it. I have never seen anyone that touched so many people than this young woman. With out a doubt she was God sent.Dale and Pricilla you have been blessed for twenty-four years, so continue with your blessing of sharing your love and prayers with family and friends. Love&Prayers
