My heart goes out to KJ's family. I just found out about KJ's passing yesterday. I've known KJ since high school. Then, his love was a beautiful austin healy sports car, blue & white. What fun we had in that car. Later I was fortunate enough to know him again with his love of harleys. I'll never forget him riding around Roanoke & Salem in his Santa suit. There will always be a special place in my heart for KJ. He was such a loving and caring person.

I am truly sorry for your loss. We became friends thru motorcycles over 25 years ago. Though I moved away in 85', K.J. stopped to see me last summer unexpectantly and with great pleasure to me, that he cared enough to do so. That's the kind of man he was. He will always be remembered and missed.

God looked around his garden, and saw an empty space,
he then looked down upon the earth, and saw your darling face
he put his arms around you, and carried you to rest,
Gods garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.

KJ was a great guy. We will miss him very much. It was a bright spot in our day whenever he would stop by & see us. He had many friends here. We all thought so much of him during his employment & after.
He had a great big heart & would do whatever it took to help you. He was a gentle giant. We remember one of his famous sayings "If I'd known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself when I was younger!"
KJ touched many lives, he never met a stranger. May God bless you in this time of grief
