Victor Crowder Obituary

Victor L. Crowder, 56, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2009. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnnie and Hunter Crowder. Surviving are his mother and father, Marie B. and William L. Crowder, of Roanoke; brother, William A. Crowder and wife, Windy, of Roanoke; and dear friend, Wanda Conner, of Salem. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 4504 Starkey Road, Suite 115, Roanoke, Va. 24015. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends following the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory, 540-366-0707.

SO SORRY TO READ OF VICTOR'S PASSING. WE WERE FRIENDS MANY YEARS AGO AND THOUGH OUR PATHS HAD NOT CROSSED FOR YEARS, I HAVE ALWAYS REMEMBERED HIM FONDLY.
