Rena Dillon Obituary

Rena Beatrice Dillon, 78, of Stuart, passed away Saturday February 28, 2009. Born in Floyd County, July 18, 1930 to the late Roosevelt Belcher and Arlie Harris Belcher, she was preceded in death by a son, Doyle Wilson Dillon. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sandra Dillon; granddaughter and husband, Kristen and David Dickerson; great-grandson, Dayton Dickerson; sister and brother-in-law, Lovelene and Coy Hall; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Peggy Belcher; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will miss her very much. Special thanks to all the medical facilities that have cared for her the past few months. Also thanks to special friends Polly Nelson and Marvin Foley. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment to follow in the Lee Cemetery, Tuggles Gap. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2009 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.maberryfuneralhome.com
