Mary Dillon Obituary

Mary Rigney Dillon, 65, of Wirtz, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009. She was born April 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Acie and Connie Mae Rigney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Dillon. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Frank Basham (Davis); boyfriend of 16 years, James Hodges (Cathead); grandchildren, Michelle Miller (Mike), Nikki Basham, Dustin Basham; greatgrandchildren, Austin, Telle, Lydia and Emmaleigh; brother, Herbert (Margaret) Rigney; and sisters, Winona (Herman) Smith, Janice (Eugene) Blankenship, Paulette (A.C.) Law, Jewell Rigney. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday, with her family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
