I was saddend to see that Betty had passed away. I have the book "Grazing Along the Crooked Road", which she had signed, and exerpts from my mother's (Henrietta Logan's) book is in her book, along with some of our old family recipes. I had never met Betty, but we had e-mailed back and forth several times. She was such a nice person, and I will miss corresponding with her. Please know that my prayers are with her family during these difficult days. God Bless You!

I met Betty just about a year ago, while she was writing her latest cookbook.(Grazing Along the Crooked Road) Betty seemed like a person you had known all your life, very kind, generous and happy. I am so sorry for your loss and I know she will be missed by so many. Our thoughts are with everyone that knew and loved Betty.

My prayers are with each of you and Betty Lou. We were close when we were young. At one time she lived with me in Hillsville and we worked together. I remember her as a caring person. As we grow up we are separated by miles but we have thoughts of our youth and those that we shared those days with. Betty Lou and Iris Gale are two that I have thought of often. My love goes out to both and the familly.
