Linda Harvey Obituary

Linda Wood Harvey, 65, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Monday, March 2, 2009. Born in Roanoke on July 1, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Mable Stewart and Kenneth Bascom Wood. She is survived by her husband, Jason M. Harvey; a daughter, Melonie H. Ray and husband, Eddy, of Roanoke; her brother, Steven G. Wood, of Deland, Fla.; her half sister, Debbie Wood, of Longmont, Colo.; three grandsons, Michael E. Ray, Billy Ray, and Christopher Ray; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009, at Cedar Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Gardner officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Lotz Roanoke Chapel. Online condolences may be made at lotzfuneralhome.com.
