Tracy Cummings Vess

Tracy Cummings Vess, 46, of Lexington, Va., died Saturday, February 28, 2009. She was born October 8, 1962, in Lexington, a daughter of the late Ernest Oliver Cummings and Ann Turner Cummings. Surviving are her husband, Talbert M. Vess; two children, Jacob R. McCormick and Jessica M. McCormick, of Lexington; a stepson, Christopher M. Vess, of Lexington; a brother, Gary H. Cummings, of Denver, Colo.; and numerous special friends who provided love and support during these last months. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Short officiating. Burial will be private and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
