Marie K. Gregory

Marie K. Gregory, 80, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 4, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, John R. "Jake" and Ruby Idella Keatley; and sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Euclid Boggess. Marie was originally from Bozoo, W.Va., and was married on July 9, 1949. She was a long time employee of Sam's Club. The love of her family is what she cherished the most. Surviving are her husband, Trubie R. Gregory Jr.; son, Richard W. Gregory and wife, Terri; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth G. and Gary Fix, and Ruby G. and William Booze; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Howard Helms; grandchildren, Troy Cole and wife, Monica, Lee Ann Fix, John "Jake" Booze, Jennifer Booze, Nathan Russell and wife, Carrie and Alex Russell; and greatgrandchildren, Ryan and Madisen Cole and Autumn Russell. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice and Home Instead. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. J.R. Graybill and the Rev. Randy Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
