Mrs. Farries was one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known. She taught me so much during the time I worked for her. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed.

To the family of Dot Farries,
Words can not express the sorrow that the news of Dorothys passing brings to my heart. She was a very special lady. She has taught me alot through the years, and she was always there with a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen when you needed a friend. Working for Dot all those years in her flower shop means alot to me. I will always remember those times and fond memories of her will always live in my heart.
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. She will be sadly missed.

I am saddened by Dorothy passing away. I first remember Dorothy and her husband, Lewis,visiting my grandparents, Edward and Alice Inge, in Roanoke nearly 60 years ago. I was about 10 years old.
Her parents, Uncle Dudley and Aunt Bess, were among my favorite grandfather's relatives. They always took time to speak to me when I was a child.
I have fond memories of them.
