Clessie Quesenberry Obituary

Clessie Marie Quesenberry, of Dugspur, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 5, 2009. Born December 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ester Goad. She was preceded in death by an infant son, James Marvin Quesenberry; and her brother, Manford Goad. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Stanley Quesenberry, of Dugspur, Va.; her son, Ronald N. Quesenberry and wife, Evelyn, of Roanoke, Va.; her daughter, Deborah Bratton and husband, John, of Dugspur; her sister, Essie Gay Shupe, of Dugspur; two grandsons, Capt. Travis Quesenberry and wife, Sarah, of Roanoke, and Daniel Jones, of Radford; two granddaughters, Julie Payne and husband, Ken, of Salem, Va., and Kimberly Quesenberry Davis and husband, Jeff, of Gainesville, Va. She has four greatgrandsons, Andrew and Ryan Quesenberry, Christian Smith, and Richard Davis II. She is missed greatly by her special feline friend, Snowball. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel in Hillsville. Interment will follow at the Marshall Cemetery in Dugspur. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. View Bible Camp or Joy Ranch Home for Children. A guestbook is available online www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
