William Shelor Obituary

William Henry (Bill) Shelor died March 6, 2009. He was a lifetime resident of Floyd, Va., the husband of Nancy Proffit Shelor, father of Anne Shelor Hubbard, Rebecca Dudley Shelor, and William Henry Shelor Jr. His grandchildren are John Albert Hubbard, Anne Hubbard Clark, Paul David Shelor Jr., Sarah Shelor Verdrager, Katherine Shelor Brockway, the late William Henry Shelor III, and Scott Andrew Shelor. Bill is the son of George Dudley Shelor and Loura Quesenberry Shelor, and the brother of Benton Shelor, George Shelor Jr., James Shelor, and Lou Alice Shelor Vaughan. Our father spent his life being a productive, contributing member of his community and a loving individual to his family and friends. A memorial service is being held at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2009. There will be a private family burial at Jacksonville Cemetery.
