I was saddened to hear of Camerons death. He was a special friend ,fellow gardener, and golfer. We had a lot of good conversations on his front porch and at the garden. I learned a lot of gardening tips from him.He was a special person . Sorry that I could not attend the visitation or the funeral service.
My prayers are with you.

I have many fond memories of C.B Dickerson. He coached our
basketball and baseball teams at Monroe Jr. High School. He was a fine man.

Thinking of you at this special time. Could not make the visitation, but thought so much about Mr. Dickerson. Both my sons attended Virginia Heights whe he was principal. They always spoke well of him. My fondest memory when Kurt my oldest son hit that fence and broke his arm. Cameron and school secretary met me at the hospital and he stayed with me until every thing was taken care of. I will miss him in church and riding down on the elavator. He always remembered to ask about the boys.
Remember the good times. Love and prayers

I knew Cam from Highland Park church. Marion was my first Sunday school teacher, and we sang in the choir together for years. He will be missed, as is Marion.

Cameron Benjamin Dickerson was one of the most remarkable man we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our Dickerson family will never be the same.
Cameron left so many wonderful memories with us in the short 5 or 6 years we knew him. It was always a pleasure to come to Roanoke and spend time with him. We will never forget the time we came and brought Jackie's mother and Cameron had to give her a kiss before she left. He was then 99 years old and made her day. We remember he always had to give us some of his tomatoes he had grown before we headed back to Charlotte Court House.
The world has lost a WONDERFUL man. We loved him so much and we are sorry we won't be with each of you on Tuesday but please know our hearts are with you.
