I am a friend of Elsie Brinkley's granddaughter Sandy Moore and have heard the admiration in her voice when speaking of her Granny..... definitely a truly wonderful, one of a kind lady.... wished I could have met her in person...

To my cousins..so sorry to learn of the death of Aunt Elsie. I have many good memories of our visits to Stanton when we were little kids. Wow, she lived a long life. May God be with each of you and comfort you.

To the Family of Mrs.Elsie:
I used to take care of her at the assisted living facility a few years ago and she was a wonderful lady. Every Sunday I would go and turn the races on for her after lunch and she would talk about her grandson and how he was going to win that day! She loved her family very much. My deepest sympathy to the family and friends. I will always remember you all.

Denise,
I hope that the happy memories will be helpful during this time. I know that your grandmother was a real "hoot", she will be missed by many - but she was loved for her whole lifetime. Loss isn't easy, but we aren't the ones to think of at this time. She is at peace, and in no pain.
