Phoua Munekounehane Obituary

Phoua Munekounehane, 66, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009. He was born in Laos on June 8, 1943. He was the husband of Bouavone Munekounehane; the father of nine children; and grandfather of 16 grandchildren. He retired as a welder after 15 years at O'Neal Steel. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2009, and from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
