Carol Riddlebarger Obituary

Carol Louise Riddlebarger, 50, of Eagle Rock, Va., passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009. She was born November 15, 1958, in Roanoke, Va., daughter of the late Duncan B. Farris. Mrs. Riddlebarger was a homemaker. She is survived by her loving husband, Lewis C. Riddlebarger; mother, Margaret Fritz Farris; daughter and sonin-law, Anitra and John Deisher Sr.; grandson, John Deisher Jr.; stepdaughters, Lisa Riddlebarger and Tina Cronin; stepgrandchildren, Kasey Riddlebarger, Brooke and Dillon Cronin; sisters and brothers-inlaw, Sandra and Kenneth Lafon, Linda and Richie Brown, and Bettie and Terry Spradlin; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey and Son, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Diane Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Gala Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.johnmoakey.com.
