Nicholas Borsella Obituary

Nicholas Joseph Borsella, Sr., 84, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. He was born in 1924 and served in the Army during World War II in the European and Pacific Theater. He was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene, he served as Pastor in Yonkers, N.Y. and Valley Stream, Long Island. Mr. Borsella earned a four year degree in business management. His last job was with Citi Bank, serving as manager over operations in New York city. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret; sons, Albert, Nicholas Jr. and Peter; daughter, Yolanda Foy; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at Oakey's North Chapel, with Mr. Albert Borsella officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. The family will be receiving friends immediately following the service. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel & Crematory, 540-362-1237.
