Ryan, Shelby and Rosemary and family, the Bob Grisso family send condolences and prays that God will support and sustain you in this time. I know His faithfulness will come and touch and provide what you need.
Lendy and I played together as children and we spent time together at family events always catching up. Our parents were best friends and spent many hours together as young adults. Our fathers could sure tell the stories!!
Lendy was so very special. Even though we saw each other rarely as adults, we always reconnected quickly and had a special bond through family. I can only imagine what she must be experiencing now that she is home. I am sure it is more than anyone can comprehend. She will be missed here, but I am sure she is already comfortable there!
I will continue to pray for Ryan and Shelby as you adjust. God will be faithful to you. Much love!

Lendy and I became friends some 12 years ago at First Baptist Church when Ryan was small. I saw her make many positive changes in her life and grow tremendously. Her sweet spirit and belief in God, love for her son,and mother were her focus and strengths. Her life was a reminder to me that loving those who are the most important to you is what is most important in life. She will be missed. My prayers are with her mother and son Ryan in the coming days.

I only knew Lendy through being a patient of Dr. Surat. I was so shocked when I read of her passing in the newspaper. What I remember most about Lendy was her gentle demeanor, soft spoken voice and her warm and caring smile. I would always ask about her son and she would do the same with me. I will truely miss seeing Lendy at the dental office and hearing Dr. Surat calling her "Lendy Lou". May God bless.

Lendy was my cousin, and although we did not spend loads of time together I can still remember fond things about her. Many of her attributes have been spelled out by others- kind spirit, beautiful smile, and love for others. Her father- Wesley, and my dad- Bob Grisso were great friends and I remember the day my dad found out about Wesley's passing. He wept.
Shelby, my prayers are with you and Ryan. May God hold you in the palm of his hands as you walk this road or sorrow. Always keep before you the hope that we as Christians have- that one day we will be reunited with them in a beautiful place- a place of no sickness, disease, sin, or darkness of anykind. We love you much!

My life was always so peaceful when Lendy and I were together. We went to church together and spent many hours talking. We were the same age and had a lot in common. She always had a smile on her face and seemed to leave a very special aura everywhere she went.
At this moment I do feel sad in my heart and soul for the loss here on earth, but I know she is smiling with the angels and loves being in the presence of our Lord.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of her family and friends.

My sincerest condolences to Lendys son and family in her home going. It was an honor to have known her only by her profession and to have experenced one of the souls God likes to "show off" with. Lendy was a gem, all that knew her will miss her.

I will always remember Lendy's loving caring nature of who she was. We started in elementary school together and finished high school together, our families were intertwined through the years, and most of all we grew up knowing a Christian home with knowing the most important things are #1 God, #2 family, then friends. I consider it a true honor to have been a friend to Lendy and she my friend. I remember probably around the time we were both around 9-10 years old having a birthday party and Lendy coming. I remember well going on school field trips and just growing up together. Those are special memories I will always have.
This was such a shock for me and I am sure for the whole family but we can all rest assure Lendy is with her God now and one day we will see her smiling face again.
Please accept our thoughts and prayers to Shelby, Rosemary, and the whole family.

I met Lindy 20 years ago at VWCC Dental Hygiene program. Our class had a 20 year reunion last weekend in Roanoke and we were unable to find an address for Lindy and we all missed her being a part of the get together. I was saddened to learn yesterday from Alicia (a classmate) of her passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I met Lendy 20+ years ago at VWCC in the dental hygiene program. She was such a sweet person and we instantly became friends. We became very close, like sisters, the year I spent in Roanoke and when I got married in October 1988, Lendy was my maid-of-honor. I treasure the memories we made even though we lost contact several years ago. I will always remember her smile and friendly personality. May God who is the Father of mercy and the God of all comfort, give you grace and peace during this time of loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lendy and I were in hygiene school together. She was a special friend and I'm sorry we lost touch with each other over the years. Just recently tried to contact her for a hygiene reunion with no luck. Heaven just received a special angel. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. May God bless all of you..
