Doris Troy Obituary

Doris Webster Troy, 70, of Callaway, died Friday, June 26, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Webster; sister, Barbara; husband, Raymond Troy; and son-in-law, Chad Price. She attended Ferrum College and was active in 4-H. Doris was a member of Monte Vista Church of the Brethren and participated with Brethren Volunteer Service in California and Chicago. Surviving are her daughter, Stacy Price; stepgranddaughter, Jessica Price; mother, Blanche Webster; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted from Monte Vista Church of the Brethren 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Jimmy Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount. www.florafuneralservice.com
