Haven Dobbins Obituary

Haven Lonnie Dobbins Sr., 62, of Narrows, Va., passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009, in Wytheville, Va., while doing what he loved, riding his Harley Davidson. Haven was born April 9, 1947, a son of the late Lewis J. and Ella E. Dobbins. He had a love of hunting, fishing, and motorcycling. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy, Issac, and Baby Dobbins; and grandson, D.J. Dobbins. He leaves to cherish his memory his life companion, Judy L. Caldwell, of Narrows; two brothers, Lewis E. and Nancy Dobbins, and Donald E. and Anita Dobbins; sons, David L. Dobbins and Charles L. Dobbins, of Partlow, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Haven L. Dobbins Jr., and Crystal Dobbins, of Copper Hill, Va.; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Gary Mullins, of Narrows, Va.; six grandchildren, Stephanie, C.J., Josh, Michael, Calob, and Matthew; one greatgrandchild, Jayden L. Niece. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 29, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com
