I am sorry to hear of the passing of my 2nd cousin whom I never met. From the sounds of his obituary I missed meeting a wonderful person.
Wes' grandmother was Elizabeth Jane Pitts. I descend from her brother William B C Pitts.
My brother and I widh to extend our sympathy to his family.

Judy, Rick and David and families:
Sorry it took my so long to sign this. I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a great guy who, along with your Mom, always made us feel welcome. My life is richer because of them.
Take comfort in knowing they are well. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Rick, David and Judy and families...
I was sad to hear about Wes' passing but at the same time I realized Doris, Wes, Mom and Dad are now together to play bridge 24/7. I can just hear them.
It is difficult to have both parents gone but know they are in your heart. It was hard to believe that on July 2nd, mother had been gone 10 years and May 25th Daddy had been gone 4 years.
Take care of yourselves and hopefully our paths will cross more frequently in the future than they have over the past few years.
God bless each of you knowing your parents are together.

I loved Uncle Wes's ready smile, his wit, and bubbling laughter. He always had a story to tell. I have appreciated his love and concern for my mother and his little sister. May you have peace and comfort from Heavenly Father at this time of loss.

My sister Barb let me know of uncle Wes's death. I grieve your loss as one who knows the pain of losing both father and mother. I am thankful for all those great early memories of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Like all good uncles, Uncle Wes was a tease. I loved his sense of humor. May the Lord God be your Shepherd as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death.

My entire family loved your father (and your mother) so. They were both great influences on our lifes as my mother found herself single in the late 60's. My brother and I have spoken many times about all that Wes did for us as children, and even through my adult life. Judy, it has been my great honor to be counted as one of your best friends in life, and I wish you many fond memories of your father. We love you! Connie Bartlett & Tony Powers. My wish for Wes is an invensible summer.
