Katherine Deyerle Bennett

Katherine Deyerle Bennett, 87, of Roanoke, died Sunday morning, July 12, 2009. Katherine was a retired sales lady for Leggett's (Tanglewood Mall) and is survived by her sons, Ralph D. Baucom, of Vinton; Terry W. Baucom, of Goodview and Max L. Bennett and wife, Donna, of Matthews, N.C.; her daughter, Jeannie Baucom LaRose, of Vinton; her grandchildren, Nicholas LaRose and wife, Sarah and Jordan LaRose, all of Vinton, Adam and Hannah Bennett, of Matthews, N.C.; her brother, David L. Deyerle, of Virginia; her sister, Betty D. Bryant, of Roanoke. A graveside service will be held in the Chapel of Light Mausoleum in Evergreen Burial Park on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Ken Scoggins officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.
