Mr and Mrs Williams, David and Pat - I just heard the sad news from my parents. I remember Laura as a baby and as a young girl. I can still see her toddling up the church sidewalk with her big brothers by her side! I will keep you in my daily prayers through this difficult time.

Mr. & Mrs. Williams, David, Pat & Zane --
After getting over the shock of her loss, it was apparent that the Lord needed another angel in heaven. Laura was a true friend and we were lucky to know her for many years. We were honored to attend the beautiful celebration of her life and are so happy we got a chance to meet her family. It is easy to see why she was such a wonderful person ... her family and friends were her inspiration. We will sorely miss her ... especially the twinkle in her eye and her laugh ... which never failed to get the rest of us laughing with her. God bless you all in this time of sorrow.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. and Mrs. Williams and the extended family in your time of sorrow. Laura was truly a lovely person and was a joy to be around with her engaging words and laughter. As for you and all of Laura's friends, it is hard for us to imagine she is gone, especially since we just recently hiked the Grand Canyon with her. She touched us, and many others, and will forever be in our hearts.

I met Laura through the Alexandria Jaycees. My heart aches for all of her friends in DC annd her family. Take care of each other. Laura had a zest for life and she loved her Hokies! Steve and I were lucky to accompany Laura, Vanessa and Carylou to a Hokie game last fall. We had so much fun! I will remember ski trips, wine festivals, The Haunted House and happy hours! Give my Elizabeth a hug, Laura! For you are surely with her amongst the angels!

Mr. & Mrs. Williams -

We were shocked to hear of Laura's death. As the parents of two 30-somethings, we know that children are not supposed to predecease their parents; I can't think of a worse loss.

Although we knew Laura for less than a year--we hiked both Mt. LeConte in the Great Smoky Mountains last August and the Grand Canyon this past April together and she joined Ron Alexander and us for dinner in Arlington--we will miss her joyful laugh and love of life. I don't think there is anyone whom Laura met that couldn't help but to like her. Know that you raised a wonderful child and beautiful spirit.

Our condolences for your loss; we will all miss her.

Dear Raymond, Mary, David, and family,

Your Laura will always live as a shining star to me. I think of her with fondness. In Acteens when she was a teenager, we made such marvelous fun memories. I especially remember the time that we went to Eagle Eyre and Laura fell out of the top bunk in the middle of the night. She was brave and unhurt, looking like a severely abused child. What a treasure God deposited in my life through Laura. May God pour His healing balm upon your aching hearts. You remain in our prayers during these difficult days. We love you.

When I heard you had passed I was dumbfounded. I still find it hard to believe you are gone. People our age aren't suppossed to die.

I understand God has a reason for eveything but I still ask why?

Thankfully over the last 6+ years with my wife Luara I got the privilege of getting to know you. Everytime I saw you there was a smile on your face. You seemed just a cheery happy go lucky sort. It was nice to see.

My grandfather used to always say, If you can count on both hands the number of friends you have, consider yourself lucky. You had so many there weren't enough fingers and toes to keep count.

You will truly be missed by many people. For some the hole in their hearts may never be filled.

Giod bless and now there is one more angel in heaven looking over everyone.
