Arnold Ward Obituary

Arnold Holt Ward, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Raleigh Court United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel, 540-989-3131.

I remember Arnold from my years working on the Graham HS yearbook and he was the photographer from Max Ward Studios. I hadn't thought about that in years. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of your father/grandfather. Know that the thoughts and prayers of many Scouters are with you during this time. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ward, but based on the caliber of his son and grandsons, he was truly a great man. God bless each of you.
