Joe Edmund Wallace

Joe Edmund Wallace, 76, of Fairfield, died Tuesday July 28, 2009. He was born February 14, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late Harry Odus Wallace and Edna George Wallace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Lou Knight Wallace. He was a member of the Wheelersburg United Methodist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of VFW Post 1499. Surviving are two daughters, Whitney W. Huffman and husband, Ward, of Fairfield and Shelley W. Claus and husband, Scott, of Chesterfield; a sister, Harriett W. Miller, of Grove City, Ohio; four grandchildren, Cole Huffman, Grace Huffman, Griffin Claus and Molly Claus. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Sandra C. Bottoms officiating.
