Edwin's stories and laughter will stay with me always. I just wish he could have lived long enough to see his only blood niece "Nazeerah" grow to be a woman. She loved her uncle with all of her heart and always greeted him with a warm smile and a big hug and kiss yelling "UNCLE!" to the top of her lungs. Shayla has fond memories of him attending all of her volley ball games while attending high school. She recalls him coaching her from the bleachers yelling "Bump the ball and "splike" it over!". Shayla misses him as well. Nazeerah, Shayla, and I will miss him dearly.

My family,
Cuz was a special person to me and my family. He always had great stories to tell. I remember we sat around for hours talking about life and what it took to may it day by day.
Cuz was also a very spiritual man. He taught me valuable lessons about life that I will cherish forever and share with my children one day. I'm going to miss him.
I know that you and my mother and grandmother are up in heaven catching up right now.
