Not sure what to say?

Robert was an extremely competitive track athlete and a gifted person. I have remembered his name, his face and his stature since we last saw one another in 1966. It is good to know that he lived and exempary life and I will hold his memoery still.

Robert Coley was a wonderful friend since 1970. We met working at Finks Jewelers, attended the same college and spent many wonderful days together in our youth.

Robert was a wonderful athlete and it was a joy playing sports with him. He had a smile that would light up a whole room, as well as a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to play practical jokes on his friends, there was never a dull moment around Robert. Robert spent many Holidays and summer weeks with my family and friends in Myrtle Beach.

Robert loved to read and learn and he loved to share his thoughts and ideas with others. I can remember many evenings when we would stay up with friends, discussing the events of the day, sharing jokes, and having good times together.

I know that Robert was a very good and kind gentleman that loved the Lord, cared dearly for his family, and lived his life in service for others.

Well done my brother! Though I miss you, I know that you are with your Lord and so many of your loved ones forever.

Robert and I grew up together at the Baptist Childrens Home in Salem. He had a terrific attitude toward everyone and a friend indeed. He was a great athlete playing all sports. I lost contact with him after I left the Home in 1967. I had hopes of seeing him again at our annual reunions. I will miss him.......

Seems as if I've known Robert all of my life. He was part of the family. I remember the avid reader who always had unique topics of conversation based on his reading. I lost touch after my cousin (his wife) passed away a couple of years ago. I am sorry I did.

My deepest sympathy to his sister and mother. May peace be with you as peace is what Robert has found at last.
