Dear Rita and Family,

My heart goes out to you and the family. It looks like Larry and Ralph completed their assignments here on earth that God had planned for them and took them home together. Ralph died on Friday, August 7th, and his viewing was on Tuesday - the day that Larry died and went home with the Lord. Ralph's funeral service was on Wednesday.

Rita, I still had family here on the day that you had Larry's "Celebration of Life". I am very sorry that I could not be there with you and the family. My thoughts and prayers were there with you.

We can both rejoice in the assurance that God has BLESSED THEM BOTH with PERFECT BODIES and they will SUFFER NO MORE PAIN. PRAISE THE LORD!

I love you Rita and may God put his loving arms around you always.

Your Friend in Christ,

Verdie

Dear Rita and Family,

Larry will never be forgotten. He was a gentleman as well as a gentle man, and we loved him and respected him very much. He was an extraordinary part of our school, and we are diminished without his presence.

We'll stay in touch with you, and know that you are all in our prayers as you grieve, but not as those who have no hope. The Lord has prepared a place for us; Larry just got there a bit ahead of us.

We loved being with you at the celebration of our good friend's life and miunistry among us.

Dear Rita & family,

We are so sorry and shocked to read of Larry's passing it's been a while since we were in touch. He was a wonderful support and inspiration to our son Richard as he gave him tuba lessons through out his middle and high school years. He took a personal interest in him and taught him as much about life as he did music. Richard went to him with any problem he had. Larry was such a wonderful and special man! We feel privileged to have had him as Richard's personal tutor. Richard still has and cherishes the special tuba we bought for him from Larry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of grief. May God strengthen and comfort you all. Hold onto to your memories in the coming days as they will be a comfort to you. So sorry we couldn't make it to the memorial service but we didn't know in time and had to work. If you need anything at all, please let us know!

Love and Prayers To You All,
Bob, Sadie & Richard Hardy

Dr. Lilley was one of my first professors at Liberty in 1996 and was one of the reasons why I went on to earn my degree in business. He had such a passion for teaching and made his students want to learn. He was a supportive professor and always encouraged us. I remember him telling us stories of all the various schools he was teaching at and I was always amazed at how he could handle all of that and still remember everyone's name.

I now teach at Liberty and was so sorry to hear about his battle. I will be praying for the family and pray that God will get you through this difficult time. He was an inspiration to many and will certainly be missed.

Larry was a wonderful support and inspiration over the years as he gave our sons, Robert and Aaron, tuba lessons. He took a personal interest in each one and taught them as much about life as he did music. We were privileged to have known such a Godly man. May God's special peace and comfort be with each family member. Hold to your memories in the coming days.

Dear Larry III and family,

Please accept our deepest sympathy - you and all your loved ones will remain in thought and prayer during these difficult days. I didn't know your dad well - only met him a time or two - but know how greatly he was admired and loved both in the community and within his family circle.

May you feel God's peace and strength surrounding you each and every moment, and may the memories of many happy times spent with your dad bring healing and comfort.

Sincerely,
Annamarie (Scholand) and Jeff Kresge
