Nora DeHart Obituary

Nora Mildred DeHart, 90, of Floyd, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Skyline Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by three brothers; and eight sisters. Nora was a long time member of Tuggles Gap Baptist Church. She retired from Floyd Garment Factory after many years of service. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Reva and Alvis Reed; special niece and caregiver, Patricia and husband, Frank Davis; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2009, at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Turpin and the Rev. Angela Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery, Tuggles Gap. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Sunday at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Skyline Manor Nursing Home for all the great care. I worked at SMNH< but am out on sick leave. But I enjoyed Miss Nora so much. She will be missed. But she IS in a better place. No more pain.
