I lived across the street from Fran in Florida for many years. She was always a joy to talk with, she had so many stories. I loved the way she would always clip the "Space News & Launches" from the newspaper for me, and then call to remind me about an event. We would meet in the middle of the street and watch as the Shuttle flew over, or an eclipse of the moon. Her friends in Florida have lost her twice, once when she moved to Virginia, and then now. She will truly be missed

We got the news yesterday that our beloved Fran has passed away from this life. Our hearts are saddened as we realize that her voice is no longer a phone call away. Fran will always hold a special place in our hearts. Our dog, Shelby, was Fran's dog too. She loved her as much as we did. We were blessed to have lived next door to Fran for fourteen years. Fran was an avid reader, loved American Idol and the HSN. It is our belief that she is no longer in pain and with the love of her life, Al, listening to all the music he recorded. May her soul rest in the hands of Jesus. Thank you God for making Fran a part of our lives. We will forever cherish our memories of her. Fran, please give Shelby a kiss for us.
