Elmer C. Chocklett, 80, of Botetourt County, Va., died on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Oakey's East Chapel, 540-977-3909.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I met Elmer only once, a couple of years ago
right after the fire at the shop. He was a real gentleman and took time away from his repairs to talk with me.
