To Clint, Mark Douglas, Beverly Lynn, Michael and all our family members in Roanoke;

Although we are unable to be here physically, we are with all of you in spirit as you celebrate the life of your mother, your sister, and our dear cousin Patsy. A little over a year ago when reflecting on the life of Patsy’s late husband, Clarence, I said that "of all the adults I knew growing up and admired and listened to, Clarence and Patsy were the first adults who treated me like my opinion had value in the adult world."

Today and many, many years later, I still carry their lesson with me in California that “all of us as adults should always remember that young people are always looking and learning from us at all times, even when we think they are not.”

Thank you, Patsy, from your cousins,
