Dwayne Keith Davis

Dwayne Keith Davis, 48, of Washington, D.C., and formerly of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009. He was born in Roanoke, Va., to Wayne Johnson and the late Selena R. Davis. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Nannie Davis; paternal grandmother, Thelma Simms; and numerous cousins and extended family. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; two stepdaughters; father, Wayne and (Mary) Johnson, of Washington, D.C.; sister, Michelle Hancock, of Roanoke; brother, Terry Allen Davis (Orrie), of Suitland, Md.; special aunt, Ruth Davis Shabazz; aunts, Shirley (Robert) White, both of Roanoke, and Ruby Bellinger, of Woodbridge, Va.; and a host of cousins, friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Grace Community Church, 2634 W. Main Street, Salem, Va., with Pastor Robert White officiating.
