Mildred Walters Moore

Mildred Walters Moore, 91, of Roanoke, Va., passed into her eternal home on Saturday, August 29, 2009. She was retired from Heironimus after 40+ years of service. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Moore Sr.; her daughters, Barbara Maxine Stanley and Myrtle Elizabeth Anderson; and her granddaughter, Deborah Sue Spradlin. She is survived by her son, William (Bill) Moore Jr. and wife, Bonnie, of Roanoke; 13 grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to Bonsack United Methodist Church or Vinton Baptist Church in her memory. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at Vinton Baptist Church, which would have been her 92nd birthday, with the Rev. Dr. William E. Booth and the Rev.
