I knew Mr. White for many years while working fot the same directorate and worked for him the last couple of years he was at Ft Stewart. He was a very kind man who genuinely had a heart for helping others. He was very proud of his boys. God bless you all.

I offer my condolences to the White family. I knew Danny, Rose and the boys many years ago, when I was a young troop assigned to the 298th M.P. Co. at Ft. Stewart with Danny. Spent many evenings playing cards with him and Rose. They are great people. Danny always had a kind word for all people and situations. Heaven has gained another honorable man.

I served with Danny at Fort Stewart many years ago and a few years ago worked for him, again at Fort Stewart. He was truly a good hearted, generous man. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
