Kermit Robertson Obituary

Kermit J. Robertson, 79, of Roanoke, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, September 5, 2009 at his home. He was the son of the late Larry H. Robertson and Lois Amos Robertson. He was also predeceased by his brother, Harold F. Robertson. He is survived by his brothers, Owen V. Robertson, Roanoke, and Thomas H. Robertson, Ocean Pines, Md.; sisters, Inez R. Barr, Largo, Fla., and Iona R. Barbour, Vinton; one aunt, Juanita R. Stevens, Vinton; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside funeral services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 with the Rev Warren R. Carswell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 7, 2009 at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 982-2221.
