Inez Toney Lester

Inez Toney Lester, 89, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 7, 2009. She was predeceased by her children, Bernard Toney Jr., Audrey Hillard and Carolyn Dalton. Surviving are a son, Larry Toney, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; and a brother, Roy Earl Peregoy ,of Glen Allen, Va., Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel. Dr. Wayne Sellers will officiate. Interment will be in Old Tombstone Cemetery, Roanoke. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
