Dear Ann & family,

Everyday we have a chance to remember the wonderful times we've had in past years when we look at the picture of our "group" taken at Jekyll Island. It's hard to lose one whom we considered "family", but will always remember "Bubba" as a kind, gentle man, with a tremendous spirit which will always live in our hearts.

Hey Mrs. Lucas, this is Lisa that works at Grand Strand Dermatology, and I would just like to express my deepest sympathy for everything you have been through with Mr. Lucas. He was such a strong trooper, and so lucky to have you by his side through it all. You will always be our "favorite & cutest couple" and we will definitely miss seeing him.

As a youth growing up in Radford, one of my favorite adults was Bobby Lucas. Why? When I would see him he would always stop and talk to me. It wasn't just a "hello", it was a conversation. His genuine interest in what was going on in my life whether in sports or work made me welcome those conversations. When I reminisce about Radford I often think of him and his influence on my life. He was important to me. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
