The fondest memory I have of your mother is rather recent - about four years ago, we were able to arrange a visit between her and my dad. They had a wonderful time together, and we all had a great reunion. Your mom's wit, intelligence, and good humor made her so special to us all. It is sad to know she is no longer in this world, and I know we all will miss her.

As I thought about your Mother I remember her wit, her smile and most of all her love for all of her family & friends. May these memories help to ease the emptyness her passing has left in your hearts.

I wish I'd been alive for those legendary cocktail parties. Grandma's pickled mushrooms, and her graciousness as a hostess lived on after those parties ended and she transitioned to hosting grandchildren on Cape Cod. I'm sure that in the next life everyone eats their mushrooms appreciatively and asks for seconds and thirds of pie.
