Aunt Mae was a true Southern Lady. Always so pleasant and smiling, never complained even if she was having a bad day. I remember going to visit her as a child in Bedford at her Rock house. She would have all this food prepared and we would have so much fun playing and eating. I also remember she styled my hair for me for a High School formal at the last minute, after I failed terribly trying to fix it myself. After I moved away and I would go to visit her, she would always ask me about how things were in Texas and about my family. She always thought of others and continued to be the big sister to her brothers. She was one of a kind and everyone in our family will miss our her so much. Elaine Francisco McKinney,TX
