Danny Dillon Obituary

Danny Dale Dillon, 59, of Salem, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 5, 2009. He served in the United States Navy. Survivors include his wife, Linda; daughter, Pricilla; parents, Tom and Ruth Dillon; brother, Billy Joe Dillon and his wife, Shirley; sister, Mary Jane Hunter and her husband, John; sister-in-law, Doris Harshbarger and husband, George; brother-in-law, Elbert Roberts and wife, Pam; and numerous nieces, nephews and longtime friends. The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held noon on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Cedar Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. George Edwards officiating. The family will proceed from the funeral home to the graveside at 11:30 a.m. The family appreciates flowers sent to remain at the gravesite but asks that in lieu of potted plants donations be made to the American Heart Association.
