Doris Wood Lovell

Doris Wood Lovell, 87, of Rocky Mount, Va., died on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. She was a daughter of the late Ezra and Hester Wood and was also preceded in death by her husband, R.H. (Hooker) Lovell; and niece, Annette Wood. Mrs. Lovell was a member of the Antioch Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her brothers, Melvin Wood and wife, Lorene, of Boones Mill, and Donnie Wood and wife, Judy, of Roanoke; nieces and nephews, Sandra and Lynn Myers, Randy and Hope Wood, Christie and Steve Shively in addition to extended family. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009, from Antioch Church of the Brethren with the Rev. David Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
