Rebecca Boone Obituary

Rebecca Jane Angle Boone, 64, of Rocky Mount, Va., departed this life on Thursday, October 8, 2009. Mother enjoyed and appreciated her many friends and relatives. She liked studying and writing genealogy over the years. When she was able, she counted it a joy to take care of her family and others needs. Mother also valued and appreciated her family very much, especially through her disease and illness. She counted it as a Blessing, to share Fellowship and being with Believers and Finding, Peace and Comfort in the teachings and Salvation of Our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Booth Boone; her father, Wayne L. Angle; a brother, Everett Dean Angle; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Moore; and two grandsons, Jared B. Boone and Tyler A. Moore. Surviving are her mother, Mary L. Angle, of Flora, Ind.; son and daughterin-law, Donald and Rueshan, of Modesto, Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law; Deborah and Jacob Brubaker, of Callaway, Deanna and Keith Peters, of Roanoke, and Darlene and Darin Rumble, of Modesto, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandsons; son-in-law, Richard Moore and wife, Nicole; sisters and brothersin-law, Beverly and Max Kelly, of Flora, Ind., and Juanita and Stephen Peters, of Peru, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at Pigg River Old German Baptist Brethren Church with The Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Clearview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Pigg River Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount, Va., 540-483-3835.
