I'd known Danny casually for many years, but in 2005 our work situations brought us closer together and we've kept up with each other at least weekly since then. I know for a long time things will come up in my life where my first thought will be "I can't wait to tell Danny about this!" He was such a kind-hearted soul, and even when we disagreed about something we retained our mutual respect for each other. What a shame that he didn't get to enjoy his retirement after working hard all his life; the last time we talked he was waiting for that first Social Security check. Danny was always worried about something - said he got that from his Mother - so now his worries are gone and he's no longer in pain. I guess that should make us glad, but I sure do miss you My Friend.

Daddy,
There's not enough words on this Earth for me to express how much I miss you.
It is so hard for me know that you are gone. I love you so very much. All I have done for the past 3 days and think about all the fun times we all shared together. Being with you and Memaw were some of the best times of my life. Now, I weep that you aren't here anymore. I love you daddy, and I always will. Even though I know you are so very happy to be with Memaw and Granddaddy again, I also know that you are sad to have left us behind. Don't worry, we are going to be just fine. And I promise to always continue to do good and make you proud. I'm going to miss you for the rest of my life, and no matter what, I am always going to be "daddy's girl". Even though right now my heart is shattered, I know that one day we are all going to be reunited again. I love you daddy, with all my heart and always will. And I promise you. Your grandbabies will always know who you are and they will love and miss you as well. Goodbye daddy for now. Send Memaw all my love.
"I love you forever, I like you always, and as long as I live, your baby girl I'll always be."
Daddy, Kristi & I were so blessed, honored & proud to have you in our life for as long as we did. You were the best daddy in the whole world.

All my love always & forever,
Kelli

Danny will be missed, especially by my mother. He was always a faithful nephew calling her often for one or two hour conversations. We all know how Danny felt about funeral homes and funerals, but when daddy passed and I asked him to be a pallbearer, he didn't hesitate to accept for mother and daddy. We had some very special times, especially when my children were little. I couldn't have worked if Ellery hadn't been such a faithful babysitter. She was such a special great-aunt to my children. They will never forget her and all she taught them. Danny missed her so much, I know they are both rejoicing now that they are together in Heaven. My prayers are with both you girls and your families.
Love,
Sandra

Danny, you will be missed by so many that considered you family in your workplace. From all the wonderful stories, that contagious smile had a huge impact on thousands that walked in and out of those doors and of course the ones that you worked with. Yes you will be missed but we all know you are no longer sick and in pain anymore so that bright smile of yours is shining more now than ever! Good bye Danny, YOU ARE LOVED SO MUCH.
