I thank God that I had the opportunity to have met such a wonderful individual. Jere and his family touch my heart deeply, not only with the love they shared among themselves but the love that was extended to others, including me. I have been his nurse for a couple months and was with him to the end, up until that time he was, and always will be that sweet, amazing, kind hearted individual. I can still hear him saying "okey, dokey". May God bless you all, to his wife, Marie, God will take care of you. Love you all, always.

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to the family during this most difficult time. I worked with Jere at the City and he was a joy to work with. Missed him dearly after he left. Had the pleasure to see him at another co-workers funeral not so long ago, however was saddened to hear about his illness. I lost my Mom to the same thing and no matter how much we want to hold on to them, they are in a much better place suffering no more. God be with you.
