To the family of Carole Johnson: Like Virginia, I think of Carole and her children and grandchildren often. Carole loved her family dearly and spoke of you every day. But, more than her family, Carole had a love of Jesus. Her faith sustained her through her illness, and she was a tremendous testimony to all that knew her. I considered Carole one of my dearest friends here at the School Board Office. She was a truly lovely person, and I miss her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Carole C. Johnson. I wanted to let you know that seeing the memoriam today of your Mother touched me so deeply. I worked with Carole at the MCPS School Board Office for many years and considered her to be one of my closest friends there. I, like you all, was very fortunate to have had such a positive, caring, and wonderful person in my life. She truly was a beautiful person, inside and out, who loved the Lord and was a true inspiration to many, especially during her illness. I know she loved you dearly because you were the topic of our many conversations. I'm so pleased that you all submitted this. I know many others, like myself, will treasure seeing it. I think of her often. She certainly raised loyal and considerate children. I know you treasure your memories with her. Know that you're in my thoughts. Take care.
