Lucille Renick Obituary

Lucille Foster Renick, 79, of Thaxton, Va., died Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Springtree Health and Rehab in Roanoke. Born on February 5, 1930, in Bedford Co., a daughter of the late Roy J. Foster and Pearle Waldron Foster. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her loving husband, Keith E. Renick; and a brother, Roy M. Foster. Lucille was survived by a sister, Barbara Taylor, of Bedford; a brother, T.R. "Tater" Foster and his wife, Jean, of Hardy; a brother, Robert Foster and his wife, Sue, of Montvale; a sister, Patricia Milton and her husband, Howard, of Roanoke; and a sister, Nancy Alphin and her husband, Richard, of Bedford; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2009, at Walnut Grove Union Church Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2009, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford. To send condolences online please visit www.tharpfuneralhome. com.
